Allie Learns About Alzheimer’s Disease is a family story about love, patience and acceptance. This is the first book written for the Special Family and Friends™ series. Written by Kim Gosselin and illustrated by Tom Dineen.

Allie is a child who is experiencing her grandmother going through the first stages of Alzheimer’s Disease. The book explains in children’s fashion how Allie is confused and worried about what’s happening with her grandmother. The story goes on and talks about the changes both Allie and her parents need to make to help her grandmother.
