Patrick Learns About Parkinson’s Disease is a story of a special bond between friends. This is the second book written for the Special Family and Friends™ series. Written by Kim Gosselin and illustrated by Tom Dineen.

Patrick is a child who is experiencing his special neighbor going through the first stages of Parkinson’s Disease. The book explains in children’s fashion how Patrick is confused and worried about what’s happening to his neighbor. The story goes on to explain the illness and the different physical effects. He now understands that while things may be different, Mr. Jennings is still his very special friend.
